Clitheroe - Jack the Ripper Tour

Jack the Ripper

The autumn of 1888 Whitechapel district of London.

The country was alerted to five gruesome murders in London’s East End.

These particularly brutal and horrific murders were attributed to a serial killer nicknamed as ‘Jack the Ripper’.

What has made these events so infamous over time is that the murderer, known as ‘Jack the Ripper’, was never found, arrested or brought to justice.

He not only brutally murdered his victims but also mutilated them and removed various organs. All of this brutality was seemingly carried out, in what was reported at the time, to be under the very noses of the Metropolitan and city of London police.
